Above Tivoli Foodhall, overlooking the old garden, you’ll find Sticks’n’Sushi – a sushi restaurant in Copenhagen where Japanese simplicity meets Danish hygge.
Behind large glass windows on the third floor, the restaurant unfolds with an open kitchen at its heart and views across Tivoli and Vesterbro. In summer, you can enjoy sushi on our 400-square-metre rooftop terrace, dining in small Japanese-inspired pavilions.
Our restaurant in Tivoli Gardens is, in fact, the most Japanese of all our locations. The space is shaped like a large fish. The floor tiles glide together like shimmering fish scales, and the kitchen sits like an island at the centre of the room, allowing guests to watch the chefs slice, roll and grill. The interior balances Danish "hygge" with Japanese minimalism in oak planks, steel and glass – with lamps floating above the tables like sheets of rice paper.
Do you need a Tivoli ticket to visit the restaurant?
No. Our restaurant in Tivoli Gardens has entrance from the street, and you don’t need an admission ticket to Tivoli to dine with us.
